Lloyd Samuel Powell was born in Jamaica West Indies, grew up in New York City where he interned with a prominent attorney, who became a city councilman and appointed him as his assistant. He and his family moved to Florida in the mid seventy’s, he has traveled the world since. known for his company building experiences, he was intricately involved in building the largest life insurance agency in the U S in the 80’s. Mr. Powell continues his involvement in the development and training aspects of organization efficiency at various levels of the corporate world, and he has been providing organizational development and leadership for almost forty years. Mr. Powell has a unique ability to design and implement corporate structures, along with the understanding of problems, and how to solve them. He is frequently called upon to offer his insightful wisdom to companies throughout the United States, in many African countries, The Caribbean islands and other countries around the world. Mr. Powell is a notable manager, he made his mark in the global community, his vast business experiences has led him to move into sharing what he has learned with those who can most benefit from it. Mr. Powell understands that sports is a place of holistic growth and development, grew up playing basketball, then played racquetball, today he is an avid golfer. With his love of the game of golf not only does he play, he serveed on the Board of Directors for Junior Golf Association of Florida in West palm Beach Florida. Their mission is to develop kids both academically and learn the game of golf. Although he has spent years solving complex corporate problems around the world, one of the keys to success in his life, is to have a balanced lifestyle. On many occasions he will utilize sports metaphor, allowing others to understand the complex methodology he may be using. Mr. Powell serves on the Board of Directors for and with Advance Composites (AVC) which has assisted many international clients in the utilization and development of many projects. AVC developed a holistic, closed loop system, that utilizes co-mingled recycled composite plastic materials and the by-products become the feedstock for the next down line commercial or other applications. Most recently AVC became involved in the study of biological and environmental toxins and their effects on Alzheimer’s, Lupus and other diseases. AVC has been called to provide input for very advanced technologies. AVC has provided consulting to numerous corporations and public institutions worldwide. Mr. Powell’s expertise has included project design and management, data analysis and interpretation, and the development and implementation of research tools. Mr. Powell enjoys generating new ideas and devising feasible solutions to broadly relevant problems. Mr. Powell a driven, resourceful individual who maintains a positive, proactive attitude when faced with adversity. Currently, Mr. Powell provides insight that benefits all human health in these related bio technologies.
